Shakshuka Shakshuka is a popular and flavorful Middle Eastern and North African dish made from a base of tomatoes, peppers, onions, and spices, all simmered together and typically topped with poached eggs. It's a comforting and hearty dish that's perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even dinner. French Cheese and Mushroom Omelette A good French Omelet is smooth, golden and oval. It is tender on the outside and creamy on the inside. Traditional French Omelets are made with cheese (au fromage) and herbs (aux fines herbes) or one could even get more creative by adding variations to it. 2 Theory Getting the Fundamentals Right Getting the fundamentals right in culinary arts is essential for anyone looking to excel in cooking. 3 Soups Minestrone Soup Minestrone is a thick Italian soup made with vegetables, beef strips, and also pastas. With all base ingredients in the soup, it is also considered a full meal in itself. Shorbath Adas Shorbath Adas, also known simply as Adas or Adas Soup, is a traditional Middle Eastern dish made primarily with lentils. It's a hearty and nutritious soup, often flavored with a variety of spices and ingredients like onions, garlic, tomatoes, and cumin. The soup can be made vegetarian or with meat, such as lamb or chicken, depending on the recipe and regional variations. It's commonly served with bread and sometimes garnished with lemon juice and fresh herbs. 4 Appetisers Bu alo Chicken Wings Bu alo Chicken Wings are deep fried chicken wings tossed in a Bu alo sauce and are served with a refreshing blue cheese dip & chilled celery sticks. The dish works well because of the contrast between the crispy wings, spicy hot sauce and the cooling dip. Khameer Khameer bread is, coming from the Emirati cuisine, usually served with a hot beverage for breakfast. It is so soft looks very similar to battoora with black seeds on. Unlike battoora, this bread is made using yeast as a raising agent and is slightly sweet. 5 Sandwiches 6 Egg Grilled Chicken Panini Grilled Chicken Panini is a delicious sandwich made with grilled or pan-seared chicken breast, often seasoned with herbs and spices, and layered with various toppings and spreads.
