Mix all the ingredients in a bowl to produce a wet dough. Let it proof for 1 hour until it doubles in volume. 2. Pour the oil into a frying pan, ensuring it is about 4 cm deep. Heat it up to 165 degrees Celsius. 3. Using gloves, pick up the dough and drop bite-sized dumplings into the oil. As they fry, turn them using a metal spider. 4. When the luqaimat are golden on both sides, remove them from the oil and place them on a tray lined with tissue to absorb the excess oil. 5.
